Why is it that older, white men seem to hate strong women in the public eye? For example, every man I know over the age of fifty detests Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, Barbara Walters, Judge Judy, Roseanne, and the like.
Are older men threatened by strong women who speak their mind?
What about "strong men" in the media? Why not hate them instead?
John McCain is a good example. The "Maverick" speaks his mind and no one thinks a thing about it. When he bleats in public it is no different than a woman doing the same, yet men seem to find the female version easy to despise and fear.
Hopefully as the population is replenished by males from the younger generation, such dichotomy will no longer exist.
